Life and Death Transition

Question: Dear Alana, my father passed away a few years ago. His death was due to cancer, I was praying that he would die peacefully in his sleep but it didn't turn out that way. I think that's what bothers me the most. I was wondering if you could tell me anything about how he is in the afterlife? Did he believe in God? Does he visit us? My mom feels his presence. Answer: Hello, dear one! Thank you for your question. Yes, I can feel the difficulty that your dear father had in the last few months of his life in a body. I wish to remind you that even when we have physical difficulties and pain at death the complications are also opportunities for us to learn, gain awareness, and discover more about our souls. So really, dear one, we can gain enlightenment and a sense of understanding through the hardships that we endure in the life and death transition. However, your father vibration has been released from physical limitations, and now he exists in a realm where he is with much peace. He is beginning to strengthen his perception of what is possible.

It is very difficult to be on the other side and not believe in God. God is everywhere, and God is all that is. When you step to the other side there is a guiding light that helps one create the transition. When you are bathed in this beautiful guiding light, it brings up the connection that God is there to support you. Even if an individual recognizes the God vibration as the universe, or the God vibration as all that is, or sees the God vibration as spirit, recognize that it is all one and the same.

Your father vibration is doing well and he has healed from the physical limitations that he had in his body. Please understand that he was much more than a body, as the extension of himself was always connected to him. So, the time of transition is released and healed.

He does occasionally connect with you and looks toward you. He wants you to know that he is at peace. When he pops in it feels that it is at times when you need a little bit of encouragement. He wants you to know that you are appreciated and that you do much for those that you help. So, dear one, your father vibration is happy and doing well now. He is even seeking some vocational interests.

Dear Alana In 1999, my Dad passed away from cancer. I was pregnant at the time with my eldest daughter and was traveling between towns helping my Mom. On this Friday when I left, I promised him that I would see him that evening. My Mom called during the day and said not to rush back as my aunt had arrived. He passed away that Sunday and for the past 10 years I have felt guilty that I did not go home as I promised. It worries me constantly. I just want to know that he has forgiven me for not being there. I know he is with me every day and I can see him in my 7 year old sons eyes. Please tell him I love him and miss him but can never wish him back, I know he was in terrible pain. Thank you Kerry.
