@emily, hope you enjoy practicing and developing your skills. All starts with centering and ground, in my view.

I emailed you a free copy of our eBook.

Regarding your brother's comment...I encourage you to consider what others perceive, but always reference your own rational mind and inner wisdom. My experience is that I have a strong connection with some people, while I don't feel as much simpatico with others. Rather than focusing on "blocks," I like to just place my intention/attention on what I want. Sure, there's a time to "work on stuff" like blocks, but it's kind of hard to drive by looking in the rearview mirror.

thank you for the insight and i will do everything i can to understand my ability's more.
I would love a free copy, anything that would help me to understand and be comfortable with these experiences.
my brother also called a few days ago and said the reason i cannot meditate and contact him is because i have put up blocks in my mind at some point in time and the only way to understand my ability's is to bypass these mental blocks, is this true.?

@Emily - Thank you for your message. It sounds to me like you're having some profound experiences. In my view, all of us are one...and...we're individuals. This is a paradox. Both are true. A couple of skills it would be useful to develop are:

1.) Being able to blend with person (or place or thing or idea) and share the experience of the other. More "other oriented."

2.) Being able to clearly know your boundaries and be in your own energy. More "self oriented."

I feel having a CHOICE is important. Personally, I want to consciously be able to connect and ALSO consciously be able to separate. I use my intention to focus my attention. "Where attention goes, energy flows."

What I don't want is for my energy to blend with people, places, things, and ideas in an unconscious way that isn't good/healthy for me and others. Yes, again, at the highest levels of experience, we are one. But I don't need to run EVERYTHING through my body, mind, and emotions. I have boundaries. I know the who, why, how, what, where, and when of MY life. My self. I know where I stop. I can ground. From that centered place, I can consciously use my intention to direct my attention and include into my experience many dimensions beyond my individual self.

I feel our “Developing Your Intuition” eBook would be really helpful for you. If you don't want to subscribe to our ezine, just contact us and we'll send you a free copy.

Hope this helps. The difference that will make is a difference is your on-going PRACTICE. What I'm describing above are techniques and skills. They take much practice over many years, and few master these realms.

i have been struggling with my ability to feel what others do to a higher level and also i see pictures of people in my head and get a bad feeling the day before something happens to someone i don't know what its going to be until it happens all i know is the people involved i've done some energy work and i've felt connected with this other person in a way that i've never been connected to before i could feel every movement she made my brother says we rushed each others awakening and the feeling light headed and shaking throwing up and feeling hard to breathe is from being so close to one another he says meditation helps but i want to understand the meaning of my ability's or my purpose even. i love helping people i can spot out an emotional person in a sea of people I'm drawn to them in such a way that i've never felt with anyone i feel the need to help and it hurts me because i get so attached to that person. i need to know how to channel these feelings also my brother says were of the same breed of angels which i don't fully understand. today she tells me to put my hand over my heart and tell her if its hot or cold it was cold when the rest of my body was hot because she tried contacting me she lives in california and i live in michigan she said " let her feel me" and this one spot where her hand was over her heart got cold at the same time hers did. when she feels pain i feel it when someone touches me to give me a hug or such she feels them touching me she feels my every move and i don't understand why please help me understand thank you, emily

You all need to read the book "Celestine Prophency"! You will all benefit from this best selling book! There is a series of these books and once you get to the 12 insight you will find out how to tap into your personal soul group. The first book goes up to the ninth insight which is basic information. Once you get up to the thirteen insight everything will come together and make sense. Best of luck to everyone.

This is a very good website, for me as I am working as a student counselor and youth worker. Sometimes I get so tired and need uplifting so that I can make the following day a perfect one. When I get to this site I know I will be healed and uplifted to continue with my work. Keep it up. I really need your support to do my work. I usually do healing of the past with youth. Even some counselors who are in the field forget that in order to help somebody with their emotions they first need to clear their own emotions first. Please help with more Ideas. I work with people who are HIV positive, child headed households, single parents, and orphans. Thank you, I am looking forward to learning more.

@Pin, I love your question, especially since you're exploring your own senses and building your own intuitive skills rather than relying on what "experts" would tell you.

Certainly:

1.) You can receive messages from the dream state;
2.) You asked a question and then received an answer;
3.) Your desire for your lover to return can influence/distort the information you receive.

So, I'm not telling you anything you don't know! :-)

Often, the inner processes that we're labeling as intuition are very subtle. We can learn to make fine distinctions that help us discern the source of the information we receive. Eventually, with much practice/play we can build trust -- an inner sense of "knowing" what's authentic (and what's not).

I had something strange happen to me not so long ago, and I just wondered if you could help please? I was deep in meditation and asked if my lover would come back to me. I must have gone to sleep and whilst I was sleeping, I received a message in green writing. It said, "He will be back." I woke up but, I'm pretty sure I was dreaming. Is that some sort of message from my subconscious, or is it just because I want to reunite with him? It would be amazing if it came true but, I'm not sure whether it is because I want him back?

Refreshingly honest. I love the way Annie Gusman Joly has found the natural flow in her art which, as she says is very different from commissions. Working for herself, therapeutically, making friends with her demons. I like the way her paintings are her friends. This is ultimate creativity, there to help you through the confusing times and teaching you all the time. Lovely pictures too.

Thank you Maria for your feedback! In another dialogue with Alana she talks about living on the edge .. or a state where we can embrace the resourcefulness of both the light and the dark. Maybe that will be another posting!

I liked your writing on darkness and light. It reminds me of the yin/yang symbol. My taiji teacher says that yin becomes yang and yang becomes yin and in taiji martial arts, its the turning of the joint. But it applies to all in that darkness becomes light and light becomes darkness when it reaches the small spot in each that is the turnover point. I was fascinated with this article.

@Bridget, thanks for sharing your perspective, which seems to be rooted in some form of monotheism like Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc. In my view, no judgement awaits me at the end of this incarnation. I imagine that I'll engage in heart-based self-review, though. "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." -- Lennon/McCartney

@Maegin Z., my view is that the "sixth sense" is actually just increased sensitivity and awareness within our five senses. I enjoyed your three related questions regarding what I'll call "source," and I have a question for you: When you close your eyes and sense the eternal love, kindness, grace, and wisdom of the universe, by what name do you call this vast energy?

My Dear Kirk VandenBerghe, I have really enjoyed reading all questions and answers above and I still find myself with a different question. My question is to kindly ask if the sixth sense comes from God Jehovah or just what we think our hearts need? To whom do we need to direct our questions, in order to get the correct answer? Do we create where we need to receive our answers from? Please help.

@KatRama, thank you, dear friend.

@Deborah, I appreciate your comments. Many of us expect easy forgiveness from others, but do not ourselves extend forgiveness so easily. Fortunately, we can learn to attune mind to heart and gracefully "give what we need."

I read somewhere that "Forgiveness is an attribute of the strong" and it truly is.To understand and be not sympathetic to, but aware of human nature is a truly a rare quality in a human, as backwards as that may seem we seem to be so unwilling to except others, flaws and all. But we are so quick to expect that someone forgives us and looks past ours. Life truly is about learning, expanding, and embracing. This was not only beautifully written, but insightful and as the last comment states a true capture of the essence of forgiveness. I truly enjoyed reading this.Thank You.

A beautifully profound, authentic, heartfelt conscious expression of your thoughts and feelings around forgiveness. You certainly captured the essence of what forgiveness means. I especially loved your ending paragraph that said it all in such a poetic way. It made my heart smile and sing. Thank you, KatRama.
