Ascension: A Topic that's Above and Beyond Ascended Masters

For many people, the only association that they have with the concept of Ascension is its reference to the physical "rising up" of Jesus into the Kingdom of Heaven forty days after he was resurrected from the dead. Others think of ascension in the context of obtaining a psychic spiritual reading to contact individuals who have "ascended to the other side." Dictionaries often define ascension as "the act of moving upwards" or "succeeding to." However, the word ascension has a more-universal spiritual connotation than either of these definitions, psychic spiritual reading, or Ascension Day celebration.

Such energy levels include the physical, etheric, astral, causal, mental, celestial, and Christ bodies - all of which are related to the seven main chakras, or energy centers, that are located in our physical self where the body and the soul are closely intertwined. By inducing consciousness to a higher energetic state, a person's corresponding vibrational energy increases to a higher frequency which in turn enables a person to reach spiritual enlightenment by ascending.

Those who've ascended are able to control their vibrational energy and can appear in various physical forms at will. Because of this mastery, death is not a requirement for ascending to occur; some actually refer to ascension as an "alternative" to death. While ascended individuals can re-incarnate, Ascended Masters are often described as those who have chosen to stay in a non-physical state of existence and instead channel their spiritual truths and knowledge through people who remain in the physical world.
