Death and Dying: Life after Life

Death and dying is a topic that people choose to either ignore, refuse to contemplate, or discuss comfortably and perhaps are even interested in understanding in more detail. While the concepts of reincarnation, the afterlife, and a near death experience (NDE) are not new ideas, the curiosity surrounding such subjects has grown during the last decade, perhaps due to the easier accessibility and sharing of information via the internet.

We see or listen to the likes of psychic Sylvia Browne describing the afterlife in detail in her numerous books or during her television appearances. We hear the medium John Edward, host of the very popular television show "Crossing Over," relay information from deceased family members, friends, and acquaintances to loved ones who remain on "this side." We browse through shelves of books available for purchase that shed new light on the numerous aspects associated with death and dying. Organizations involved in studying death-related topics such as The International Association for Near-Death Studies, Inc and the Near-Death Experience Research Foundation (NDERF) are busy gathering information.

Whether we're looking for information to reassure ourselves that our lost loved ones are now at peace or whether we're interested in sharing our own out-of-body near-death experiences, no longer is the information difficult to come by and no longer are we completely shunned for recounting our stories. We encourage you to seek the comfort that you need to deal with your grief or fears; we hope that you will find like-minded individuals to give meaning to your stories; we would appreciate you sharing your insight into the possibilities of life after death or as others prefer to call it...life after life.

Does it mean anything when someone dies close to their birthday?
