Network Chiropractic: A Popular Type of Therapeutic Treatment

Chiropractic care is often described as hands-on, non-surgical, drug-free, alternative treatments that relies on adjustments and manipulations of ones spine to diagnosis and treat various physical ailments. However, a chiropractor (D.C.) can also be thought of as a homeopathic doctor who focuses on the prevention, as much as the correction, of specific health problems.

As insurance companies have begun to realize and appreciate the critical function of D.C.'s to prevent the need for more extensive medical procedures, such a practice has moved more into the mainstream of acceptable health services. As the one-time stigma associated with being a chiropractor also erodes away, chiropractor schools continue to see an increase in their enrollment.

What might surprise many students, as well as patients of such care, is that there are actually a number of chiropractic treatment types. One of the most popular treatments associated with chiropractic care involves the use of a practice that's known as Network Chiropractic.

Also referred to as Network Spinal Analysis (NSA), such a practice draws on the true homeopathic nature of preventing dis-ease. By using the "like to cure like" concept, an NSA chiropractor relies on their own clinical observations along with a patient's assessment of the stress in their life. By tapping into the body's ability to redirect and/or regulate such tension, the healing energy generated by the precise sequence of networked adjustments needed by that individual can be, as stated by the Association of Network Care, turned into "fuel for spinal re-organization and enhanced wellness."

If you're planning to attend a chiropractic school of study, expect to learn about Dr. Donald Epstein's Network approach. A unique blend of a doctor's external care and a patient's internal energy flow, this method of treatment will likely continue to grow in popularity.
