Reincarnation? An Account of an Age Regression Hypnosis Story

The idea of reincarnation has been around within religions for centuries. These age regression stories typically involve a person being put into a deep hypnotic trance in order to relive sections of their lives as another person, to gain a better understanding of why they are here, and what their purpose in life is. I offer my own experience with reincarnation as-if nothing more-an interesting anecdote.
I was about nineteen years old and working as a nanny for a tarot reader in Seattle, Washington. One winter evening Sarah and I were sitting by the fireplace in an old rented house in the university district. The kids had been put to bed long ago, and Sarah asked me if I wanted her to regress me and explore any past lives I might have had. I agreed, and she had me lay on the couch while she began to take me into a very relaxed hypnotic state. I was about to discover past lives of three separate beings.
I felt light, floaty, and heard Sarah's voice telling me to look at my feet. In my mind's eye, I glanced down and saw the shoes of an old woman. Sarah asked me where I was. I was in an upper room, and there was a lot of fear. A family was hiding behind me and men wearing military uniforms where trying to break down the door. I stood in their way, and as they burst through, one stabbed me through the chest with a bayonet. My name was Kayettia Herisling; I was German, killed by the Nazi's for hiding Jews. Proof of reincarnation? Sarah said it explained why I have had asthma and other chest problems in this life. We went deeper, and this time we went too far; I was in a harem outfit, like the kind on "I Dream of Jeanie." I was in a tent, and I was so bored I could hardly stand my life. Sarah laughed and got me out of there.
Then I met Ardis Derwick. She was in her early twenties and was smuggling something into the United Sates for her boyfriend, a dark man who I thought I recognized. She was killed in a car crash-died of a broken neck-just outside of New York.
Years later I met the man who would become my baby's dad. I realized that he was the man from Ardis' life, and that we had known each other before. Unfortunately, I did not heed Ardis' warning, and spent four unhappy years getting into trouble with the law as a result of my relationship.
Is reincarnation real, or are these age regression stories just that, interesting stories? I know what I felt and saw. I believe.
