Zodiac Symbols for your Jewelry and Charms
by Robin Ohara
Since I first started studying the meaning of zodiacs and their signs it made a lot of sense to me. It seemed quite possible that the position of the stars when someone was born would have some influence on their behavior, and the sun, rising, and moon signs made sense, too.
For instance, I was born in May, my zodiac sign is Taurus. We're supposed to have the characteristic of being conservative, loyal, and materialistic. My rising sign, however, is Leo. That's determined by the position of the sun at the hour of birth; we like to wear loud jewelry and usually have a mane of hair. We're out spoken and like to take a leadership role. So far, so good, except that my lunar-or moon- sign (which governs emotions) is Virgo, meaning that I tend to second guess my decisions and have terrible self talk. Virgo's are typically very hard on themselves. It's no wonder that I present as an intelligent, in control person while all the while I'm wondering if the chair I chose to sit in during the meeting will suddenly collapse.
Wouldn't it be great if everyone wore zodiac jewelry or charms so we'd know what kind of person we were dealing with right off the bat? (Of course the practical Capricorn would wear little stud earrings) You could spot a Leo coming from a mile away, and know the way to their heart is flattery. Scorpios have really intense eyes and absolutely magnetic personalities (they probably wouldn't wear their sun sign as a piece of jewelry, but I'll bet they would get a tattoo…)
