Your energy keeps moving forward; when doubt or questions arise, keep turning toward what you want.
Question: Alana, four months ago, I had a clear idea of what I wanted to do in life. I believe we create our own reality, and when we are in alignment with our destiny, doors open smoothly, and opportunities flow our way.
However, now I am confused. It appears all my plans and dreams have fallen apart. How do I know when my fears are obstacles or my dreams need a readjustment? I feel “cut off” from my guides and am unsure if the information I think I am getting is “real.” In addition, I stopped having fun with tapping into my intuition. What insights do you have about how to get back on track?
Alana’s Answer: Dear one, in listening to your question and thoughts, I hear many different parts of you expressing and wondering what to do to bring about your desired reality.
Pretending is a Powerful State
I feel all these different parts of you need direction. How about creating a nonjudgmental space to practice your desired reality? Learn to play and pretend! Just the act of pretending can support shifting your reality. Rekindle that childhood spirit and pretend you are doing what you’d like to be doing.
Then, notice what happens; you’ll gain insight, and parts of your nature will also learn new patterns of possibility.
The parts of your nature that observe gather insight. How you respond becomes like a touchstone, and your essence can begin to understand how your reality can change. Comfort can flow into your being like an imprint that can gain energy to manifest. You can even journal how your perceptions and insights shift and reveal during this life purpose journey.
Asking Questions Leads to Awareness
You can also be an active investigator! Probing questions can offer an opportunity to discern, gather perceptions, and move beyond self-judgment.
Ask:
“How do I discern between a better way and what is occurring when my perceived destiny does not seem to appear before me?”
“Is fear getting in the way of creating clarity or blocking me from recognizing what is possible at this time?”
Another exploration is noticing if you are more attached to waiting than moving forward. Your mind may be thinking, “How can I walk my talk if I am not manifesting what I want yet?”
We are Always Manifesting
This reinforcement can lead to staying in a quandary and waiting for a manifestation to provide some type of evidence. If you find yourself waiting for mental proof, you are telling the universe that you like to wait. Waiting becomes your manifestation. You are still manifesting, but waiting was what you intended.
Creative Manifesting Technique
Practice is another form of pretending, and it can also build evidence and knowledge, offering imprints that your essence can tap into and help get you past the waiting game. Imagine being able to feel different realities or replicas of your desired reality.
Creative manifestation practice can build intention by igniting your senses.
Practice doing what your desired reality could feel like.
Practice doing what your reality might look like.
Practice doing what your reality may sound like.
Connect with all your senses to explore each while noticing what you notice.
You can receive clear evidence and insightful information by creatively taking action that can move you toward your goal. You will also gain insight into where any fear of moving forward or success is holding you back.
Extending Gratefulness
As you pretend and practice sensing what you wish to create, extend gratefulness! When we want something and express that we are grateful, what do you think we get? We get more of that, for which we are grateful!
The Distraction of Preparation
One sign of the fear of manifestation is over-preparation. Now, if you practice your desired destiny with a mental state of what it’s like to only prepare for when change happens, then guess what you get? Just more preparation!
You get to organize more, you get to create more ways in which you can prepare, etc. Therefore, you have expressed your destiny as a desire to prepare.
Another distraction can be busy work. Say you want to create a business and identify many tasks you need to do to get it started. There are printed materials to make; you must work on publicity and contact people by making a list. So check your motivation to sense if you are wasting time or if your intention is building momentum. There is a difference.
Infuse Time with Intention
Also, examine how you fill your day. Ask how much time you spend in front of others doing what you intend and how much time you spend in preparation. By asking this question, you will begin to understand what message you are sending to the universe and what intention the universe may reflect back to you.
Knowing Comes with Building Intent
You may also find another quandary that keeps you in wonderment—the “I wonder when” state of mind!
“How do I find ways to do my business if people do not show up?” Rather than reinforce what you sense you are lacking, try something different!
Let’s pretend and practice again! Ask, “Well, which thought do I choose to serve?” Of course, say, “I choose to serve the thought that people are before me every moment. I can work with these people easily and effortlessly.” Keep imagining and fuel your intention!
Your Thoughts Create Momentum
Now, you’ll begin to notice the ball is rolling forward. Exploring will create a shift in how the universe listens and mirrors back your intent. You are now creating magnetic energy that will set manifestation in motion.
You will draw more people to you, and more people, and more people as you build a velocity of energy. This is how to create the energy for manifestation that continues to bring results from your creative intention.
Your energy keeps moving forward; when doubt or questions arise, keep turning toward what you want.
Remember Where You Dwell Becomes Fuel
So, where your thoughts focus becomes your intention! If you express that you have to wait, you will receive more waiting.
If you hold the thought, I love to create, and I am engaged and extend energy imagining how you will interact with each person that comes before you; if they are so willing, so be it.
Thoughts are like magical elements that we can use and direct to help us build intention and energy follows. Thought combined with imagination is a creative force. Understanding this formula will help you attract more creative interactions and manifest the deepest desires of your heart.
See! Now, you can take your serious and heartfelt question and move out of confusion and doubt into the flow of creative movement.
Through this movement, yes, you will judge, but don’t stay there. Move into a creative exploration using discernment rather than staying in judgment. Create intention, focus on what you want, and then creative energy will direct your manifestations.
